Bratton Endorses Spitzer Driver’s License Plan (Giuliani wants Bratton as Homeland/Security/Sec)

This is a false logical construction. It was in early August that Giuliani said that he might appoint Bratton as Homeland Security chief (according to the NY Post article). The Spitzer article in which he quotes Bratten as supporting that idiotic licensure plan was dated in late October — two and one-half months after Giuliani reached out to Bratten.

I’m as outraged about the drivers license plan as anyone, but I think it’s dishonest to use it against Giuliani in light of the chronology. Someone should ask him about it directly.
