Tell who to kiss off? I am purchasing these light bulbs as my CHOICE. They use less energy and for the most part work the same as an incandescent. Using less energy means lower power bills. Taking waste to the proper locations is just smart as there is no need to pollute whenever possible.
OMG....do you think that trash doesn’t go all in one place eventually??
Yes, it IS YOUR CHOICE - and it should be,.
It should ALSO be MY CHOICE NO TO - that is the point.
First toilets, now light bulbs - by LAW - you don't mind living under Communism?
It's not the Bulbs! It's our freedom, it's Communism, not the free market.
And Hillary has stated that we 'little people' need all these decsions made for us -
Make your own choices, but don't make MINE!
In a matter of 15-20 years, we will begin drink the mercury and phosphors from these things, just as current fluorescents are polluting ground water.
I suppose we can stop eating the mercury laden fish so you can save thirty bucks.
Everything these conzies do has unintended consequences like the crap they made oil companies put in the gas, the current carbon credit frauds and so here we go again.
I've had it with them!
We need to take them to the dump.
BTW, the amortized costs of these bulbs sorta eat into your thirty bucks...as opposed to a two bit light bulb.
Not to mention the fact that the lighting is harsh and yellowish, they also do not give you enough of a natural light. They suck! I got rid of them except for the perimeter lights outside.
If this whack job gets a bill like this through congress I'll eat my shorts.
