Many shows, esp. cop shows and "House," feature women giving orders to the men. Consider "Law and Order, SVU"---female (black) captain in many of the episodes; "NCIS," Lauren Holly plays the "Director" in charge of the outfit; "Shark" (first season)Jeri Ryan was Stark's boss; and on all these shows, the chics are gun-toting toughies---CSI, Criminal Minds, Numbers, and many others.

Only on "the Unit" are the men portrayed as real men and the women as strong women.

Have you never had a women boss? I have. I guess you started at the top right away. Lucky you I guess. In fact having a women boss is funny because they are always harder on the women. Women don’t get away with ANYTHING and it is funny to watch.

on house:

in a recent episode they had someone who would copy whoever was in charge in a room. So for fun they put house an cutty in a room with him... house was in charge..
