Apropos of nothing being said here--I had a strange experience today. For those of you into the music scene in Austin, I'm sure you have heard of a place called The Backyard, where lots of well known musician hold concerts. It is very close to where I live in Lakeway (TX)

Anyway, I was running some errands today that took me close to The Backyard, and there were people lined up 2 and 3 deep for several blocks--a steady, moving stream of people, and more coming all the time. I thought "WOW! there must be a real biggie appearing tonight.

I continued with my errands, and about an hour later I headed home, and once again, I passed this moving line of people walking into The Backyard.

I got stopped by a red light and rolled down the window and asked one of them who was appearing.

I nearly dropped my teeth when the guy said---drum roll here--OBAMA!

I would estimate the crowd numbered at least 1000 people.

My observation is that Obama attracts young idealists (good), while Hitlery attracts old hippies (bad)!

Wow! That sounds like a lot of people! Can it be that Texas libs can’t stand Hillary either?

The tickets for Obama at The Backyard were 35, and 25 for students.
