The so-called war on terror (a term now banned in British government) “is a misnomer.” Terrorism, as Spencer reminds us, is a tactic, a means to an end. Back in the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, the terrorists who made for popular movie villains were Russians and disaffected Eastern Bloc types who threatened to blow up trams full of people if they didn’t receive the millions of dollars they demanded (with Sylvester Stallone or Bruce Willis coming to the rescue).
But in real life today, Jihadists threaten to kill us if we do not bow to Sharia law and Islamic supremacy – yet the only movies about terrorist acts we seem to be treated to by Hollywood lately are ones in which American soldiers are doing the terrorizing. (Perhaps Hollywood is channeling John Kerry?)
What is it exactly that Jihadists hope to accomplish? Spencer says that by using a force of arms, their Sharia-based plans include:
Subjugation of women Discrimination of all other religions No freedom of conscience No representational art
An excellent example of the last bullet point is that of the cartoon riots of last year, where protestors worldwide reacted violently to some cheesy cartoons depicting Mohammed in a Danish newspaper. According to Spencer, one of the outcomes is that there have been calls for blasphemy laws throughout Europe, which could actually come to pass. Is this really what we, as a free people, want for our future? Where Islam is above criticism?

You can’t fight a war if you won’t name your enemy. This is a War on Muslim Extremists.

Islam is a religion of peace.
I can't provide evidence to support this assertion, but I know it is true because Muslims and politicians say it is so.
We can either figure this out and start to deal seriously with the named enemy, or wait until the coming _major_ Jihad event in the US and then throw away this PC propaganda and pay a much higher price, in people and dollars, to actually fight for the future of our civilization.
The plan is to not insult Muslim allies, as they modernize and liberalize their way into the “End of History”.

This article is far too politically corect. The goal of Jihadis is to establish a World Caliphate. To accomlish this the Jihadi Fascist International Movement has this evolution in mind: Step 1) To cause the downfall of all democratic or Monarchic governments in nations with Muslim populations, and substitute it with a Jihadist theocracy. ( They tried in Afghanistan and in Iraq , we stopped them,, are trying now in Pakistan, and have succeeded in Iran and Syria, are trying in INdonesia, and are trying in Thailand, and in the Gaza Strip, lebanon, in Egypt , in Turkey and in Saudi Arabia) 2)Step 2 Create an Axis of Theocratic Jihadist Nations , with strategic ties to Russia, Red China and North Korea ( The north koreans are already active in Syria), and the securing of nuclear weapons for international blackmail, interuption and control of the flow of oil to the West and the subsequent ruination of all Western economies , while supporting and enriching the economies of Russia, Red China, and North Korea. 3) Step 3 The Attack of the Western Hemisphere with China coming from the West, and the Jihadists invading from the east in a two front war after the subjugation of Europe through social and political disorder, and unconventional warfare. Both nuclear and conventional arms are to be used in this planned phase of conquest. None of this is a secret. The Japanese already know of these plans through contacts with the Shieks and Emirs of Bahrain. Japan is cozying up to Bahrain to secure their part of the oil pie when the shite hits the fan.Many of the sons of Japanese Aristocracy attend University in Dubai.
The goal is the subjugation of the entire world to Sharia law, conversion or dhimmitude.
The Nazis were Fascists , but did not have nuclear arms. But the Jihadi-fascists will, and all free nations will be in a fight for their economic and sovereign survival.Red China intends to help bring this about by weakening all Western economies.
George W. Bush has put a mager wrench in their intended evolution, and his policies MUST be continued in a bi-partisan fashion, just the same way we prosecuted the Cold War.
Now who can handle all of this?
Duncan Hunter. Get behind his campaign. No other candidate in either the Democrat or Republican field of candidates has the vision, knowledge and military experience of how to deal with this " Brave New World" which history has foisted upon us as a nation.
All other candidates have not even awakened to what it is facing us.

Can’t agree with you there. A friend of mine is a Muslim and he considers the extremists a pariah of his religion.
