Yeah, she's from Mass and that accounts for a certain amount of natural bleeding heart moonbattery but is that really it? What was it she was thinking? Was it prison overcrowding? Who puts pressure on judges to release these monsters? Why should any judge take such a risk?

Those are outstanding questions, and, of course, they cut to the very essence of the issue.

I wonder . . . her husband's a criminal defense attorney. Not for nothing, but I wonder if he has her ear?
