What chance would a Romney appointee who was a Republican have of getting approved in the State of Massholes? Answer, NONE!!This of course IS a huge problem in Massachusetts and seems never ending. When Republicans have to console themselves that they didn't lose this election or that election by too big a margin, it shows how whipped the party is there.

Tracy L. Lyons, whom Romney appointed at the same time as Tuttman, as associate justice of the Brighton division of the Boston Municipal Court, was (or is) a registered Republican. I believe she was approved.

Did you see post 43? She was not remotely qualified and apparently a lot of his nominees weren't either. I can respect that he would have been stuck with nominating dems, but they could at least have been qualified to be judges of criminal cases.
