You’re right. That’s really the only way in this world that you can “get away” with it. But, for those of us who’ve lost children before, it’s a hard, hard thing. When a child is already somehow mentally vulnerable and an ADULT takes advantage of the situation to abuse that child, and NOTHING AT ALL is done, she needs, as some have pointed out, some social reconditioning.
