To: Philly Nomad

I’ve yet to see a single bar that considers this a blessing, except for the bars that border municipalities that ban smoking.

They did that in a small town near me, and the town immediately experienced significant loss of business. Meanwhile, the bars right next door, but not in the township, began seeing huge increases in business.

Nanny stateism, at its worst.

I’m sorry, I haven’t seen it.

My cousin owns a bar in philly and he’s seen no drop-off. The Bars I go to in NYC are all still going strong as if the ban has never happened.

Poorly run bars go out of business all the time, since America has lost the will to accept blame for one’s mistakes, they find a way to blame the government.

Maybe they can get al sharpton on the bandwagon.
