“no ability to attack the United States… “

The statement above is enough to disqualify RP from even being a candidate.

Huh, haven’t they already attacked us? I have a vague recollection of 9/11, did I just imagine that event?

Never heard the ministry of silly explanations explain away that one.
I’d like to hear them try.

I agree that there may have been WMD, but America was told by its leaders in Wash. that the intell was not correct as first thought. RP can only speak from statements that are printed from Congress, CIA, UN, the 911 Report, Media, etc. since this is what most Americans believe and are fed by the government. If you reported that there was WMD’s, then everyone would call him a loon. Either way, both sides are calling him a loon. Who is right in regard to the way he should play this?

Depends on if the spam monkies were aware of them and thought they could spin it.
Otherwise, they warned each other to stay away from them.
Or they were spamming other forums en masse.

Rp said,
They have no way to attack us.
They did attack us, how hard is it for you to understand that concept?

Zero. If they did read what was presented, they did not believe it.
I still say they are believing what people who support him are saying RP said not what he has actually said.

al Qaeda is there now, in addition to the Iraq Authorization, our operations are authorized by the Authorization to use force Paul voted for. Better for him to stress his position that peace will break out if the troops are removed unconditionally within 3 to 6 months than replay 2002-2003.

Yeah, you imagined the part where Iraq had anything to do with it. Or maybe you didnt, you were just slowly brainwashed into believing it.

"As it turned out, Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction, no al-Qaeda activity, and no ability to attack the United States… With both objectives of the original authorization completely satisfied, what is the legal ground for our continued involvement in Iraq? Why has Congress not stepped up to the plate and revisited the original authorization?"

Evidently Herr Doktor Paul didn't bother to read the authorization he voted against. Nowhere does the authorization mention WMD, AQ, etc. It says that Saddam was in violation of the terms of his peace agreement that left him in power after being defeated in the first gulf war. Iraq did not have the rights of a sovereign nation any more than a parolee has rights to privacy and gun ownership.

The important point to Doktor Paul is that the Neocons (Joos) wanted the threat of Saddam neutralized and the Iraqi people freed and empowered so he was against it.

Even taking the terrorist connection out of it, Iraq was shooting at our planes and attempted to assassinate a former President, both acts of war.

All this is all well and good.....for the history books. The question for candidates today is “What are you going to do to help this country from this day forward.” Hell, we can go back to Hitler and discuss what he did to get us into WWII but what good would it do for this coming election?

Iraq attacked us? Iran attack us? Besides little fights on the boards, there is nothing there. It was Bin Laden. And if you read the UN report about Iran, it confirm what RP was saying (that Iran is a 3rd world country and has no power). I don’t believe the UN’s report totally but Iran can’t get any A-bomb anywhere (based on CIA reports).
