Considering the 911 Commissioner Jamie Gorelick’s involment in creating the information wall while simultaneously being involved in a scandal larger than Enron (Fannie Mae Scandal) should we really take the 911 Commission seriously?
To: tmp02
Now where di anyone mention Iraq or Ian specifically?
I seem to recall ‘terrorists’ had the ball in play at the time.
Their funding was from... trace the money.
I’m sure you can do that.

Do you think it was a coincidence one of the captured Iraqi documents showed Saddam had requested volunteers from his Air Force to do attacks against the U.S. and our interests around the world, six months before 9/11?

They may not have had any direct relation with the 9/11 attack, but there were a major supporter of the greater Islamic Terrorist problem, with over fifty references in the 9/11 report to Iraq’s sponsorship and direct training of terrorists.
If you go after organized crime, you can’t just choose one family by name, you have to go after them all.

I think the AQ articles should just address the presence before we took over, which I whink was two training camps. Anything since then cannot be attributed to Saddam.
You are restricting yourself using AQ only. Saddam was giving money to the familes of suicide bombers and allowed some notorious people into Baghdad.
Since Saddam's generals thought they were developing weapons and Saddam had restricted access to inspectors, reasonable people would come to only one conclusion. The rest won't believe videos of atom bombs being hauled away.

So Iraq wasn’t shooting at our planes? Iraq didn’t attempt to assassinate a former president? Iraq wasn’t sponsoring, financing and training terrorist organizations? Iraq wasn’t indicted as a co-conspirator in the first World Trade Center bombing? Iraq Intelligence Service wasn’t the CIA shooting? There were a LOT more attacks than just 9/11 in this greater war.

Huh, havent they (Iraq) already attacked us? I have a vague recollection of 9/11, did I just imagine that event? That could have been one of the most ignorant statements ever posted on the Internet, and that's saying something.
We were attacked by 19 men, mostly Saudis, acting under the direction of Osama bin Laden. We were not attacked by the government of Iraq.
It reminds me of that old Saturday Night Live spoof where people with GEDs talk about American history.

I can’t wait until a few primaries are held so the Ron Paul cult members can be shown that everybody else thinks Ron Paul is a lunatic. He will finish last in most states until he is forced by reality to take a hike.

The 911 Commission admitted ignoring Operation Able Danger. When will Ron Paul?

The only supporters this boob has are kooks and the legion of Soros, we’ll see how many they can dredge up for the primaries.

Iraq attacked us? Those wearing American uniforms are "us", so the simple answer to your question is, yes. Iraq attacked us. Read up on everything going on to defend the no fly zones.
As to Iran, look into who was financing weaponry used against us in Clinton's little wars.

Good point about Saddam giving money to the familes of suicide bombers blowing people up in Israel.
The Ron Paul Cult could watch my video on Saddam’s terrorist training camp “Salman Pak” but will they?

Iraq funded terrorism, had the Salman pak terrorist training camp, hosted AQ, and violated the 1991 surrender agreement.
