Precisely.
But that doesn’t stop the somnambulists and the like from saying it.

I read about a meeting in Beirut in January 2001. Iran, Iraq & all of the big name terrorist organizations sent representatives to it. It’s not known exactly what they talked about. What would be your best guess? Think Israel was the only hot topic?
I used to have an article written by Andrea Koppel about it bookmarked, but can’t find it anymore.

So attacking our troops isnt an attack. Fascinating.
I do not think tmp02 has ever been in harms way while serving our country. If he had he would feel differently.

Saddam did not intend on losing his beloved renegade province. He also thought wed leave him alone.I do not know if anyone told you, but Saddam is dead! I think that means ... "Mission Accomplished"

They would not have been shooting at us in Iraq if we did not over there.
We would not have been over there if your favorite nation had not attacked Kuwait. Iraq agreed to the terms of the cease fire and then reneged.

Does anyone know what the Ron Paul view on Valerie Plame is? Probably akin to the Catholics' view of the Virgin Mary.

Nice attempt to sidestep.
1991, Saddam did NOT intend to lose Kuwait.
He seriously thought we wouldn’t do Desert Shield or Desert Storm.

There is not a single plausible reason why Saddam would have invaded Kuwait if he did not intend to keep it.

And he didn’t end up dead until after Operation Iraqi Freedom.
So their whining about us not killing him ‘before’ is a little disingenuous.

There is not a single plausible reason why Saddam would have invaded Kuwait if he did not intend to keep it. As someone who considered himself the modern day Saladin, Kuwait was supposed to only his first step to empire, which is why we got the support of Arabs we did in pushing him back outta Kuwait.

King George the I?
That sounds exactly like the Libs.

There is not a single plausible reason why Saddam would have invaded Kuwait if he did not intend to keep it. I'm sure the Paulvestites will find some link saying that the first Bush administration worked with Saddam to plan it to enrich the military-industral complex.

Good grief, is that interview for real? It reads like a piece in the Onion.
“I think if we pulled out of the Middle East, Arabs would work out a better deal with Israel.”
“We’re dealing with a few people. Of course, since we’re doing the wrong thing, there’s a lot more enemies out there now.”
“Terrorists are very weak people. They don’t have a political base. They don’t have a government. They have no military. We were attacked by people with razor blades.”
Cluelessness personified. He and Kucinich tie for the worst Commander in Chief wannabees.

Perhaps.
Then again, I’m also on a thread where some morons are saying it’s okay for so-called ‘hunters’ to shoot without id’ing their targets.
(In other words, yahoos who shouldn’t have guns and have little to do with the tradition of hunting.)
