For a progressive African American of the 21st century Obama sounds a lot like a white sheriff of the 19th century. Are we sure his name is Barack and not Jim Crow? 'Cause that was the express attitude of white folks immediately following the Civil War (or as we southerners refer to the recent unpleasantness, the War of Nawthun Aggression) to keep guns out of the hands of former property.
