Baltimore is no better or worse than any big city.

Baltimore is worse that San Francisco and Seattle in this regard.

Generally, yes, but it’s pretty much on par with many big cities - Detroit, L.A., Boston, Atlanta, Chicago....

I’m quite sure each of those cities has dangerous areas. That said, have no desire to go to either one of those cities.

It’s worse than Houston. I think the problem is as much or more from riding the citybus as the neighborhood. I’ve only ridden the bus a few times here, but several of those times a bunch of middle schoolers have gotten on and made me very uncomfortable. And they weren’t even threatening me, just loud, tough looking, aggressive body language...

I think I can sense what happened. The kids were somewhat mildly harrassing this girl, telling her all the seats were taken, then she sat down anyway, and one of them probably said who does this white b!tch think she is, and then it was off to the races.
