Anyone who sincerely believes in an actual religion of some kind, who does not believe he/she can be an atheist in one sphere but not another, will still have questions in his/her head. The "no religious test" stipulation of the Constitution was penned when most of the American people at least gave lip service to some form of historical Christianity. Mitt's springs of action still hit me, as a "former day saint," as an enigma. I would hold my nose and vote Mitt if Hillary were the opposing candidate, but not so sure I wouldn't choose an outspokenly former-day Christian third party candidate if someone else were to be the Dem.
I like that "former day"...I woul have to think long and hard before voting for Mitt in the general, as would many.
