It's not just the lack of common sense, it's destructive thinking.
These "pray for the perp" people are hopelessly naive and spread a type of thought that to me is troublesome.
Personally,
I'm glad the bastard is dead.
I'm glad the countless people who would otherwise be dead were fortunate enough to have someone on their side..with a gun..and the skill to use it.
And if God had anything to do with it I'm glad He gave her the skills to take the bastard out.

Call me cynical, but wasn’t the founder of that church busted with an ounce of meth and a collection of boy-toys? Maybe the “little lady” got her job through her connections in the “community,” if you know what I mean.
He just sent the letters to YWAM within the past few weeks, I believe. It was recent.
Also, somewhere I did read that the Arvada cops had already gone to Murray’s parents’ house around noon yesterday with the search warrant, so that was even before he started the New Life rampage.
What I’m not sure about is whether he hinted at any planning for New Life in what he wrote or said at YWAM - or if LE knew New Life was on the agenda. Just telling New Life to arm up for no reason except possible generalities is one thing - but if New Life was already being targeted, I wonder why.
Indeed there are quite a few... I’m glad in this case that the media is not ignoring the spiritual factor as well...

No way! I know there are some true ‘cases’ on FR, but...no, I just can’t believe it!
(Although it’s true, I haven’t posted on anything like a regular basis on FR for quite awhile, so it might be the shock that makes me incredulous, although I ought to know we have some true freakazoids around here.)

In 7 minutes on CNN Larry King will interview Ms. Assam about the shooting. I’m no fan of Larry King, but I will be watching this one.

Rent the movie, by all means. You won’t regret it. I’d have to say it’s my favorite comedy of all time, not the least because it’s SO quotable.
