Incredibly it seems the Dr Hasan Faraj who was an author on the below JAMA paper on the death of anthrax victim Kathy Nguyen was arrested

In a letter submitted to a federal judge yesterday, prosecutors outlined what they said were ties linking a Syrian-born American doctor, who has been charged with lying to obtain American citizenship, to terrorism and suspected members of Al Qaeda.

Still, no new charges have been brought against the man, Hassan Faraj, of Brooklyn, and his lawyer belittled the letter as a scare tactic and called the allegations flimsy.

Mr. Faraj, 39, was arrested in June and charged with naturalization fraud. Prosecutors accuse him of lying to the Immigration and Naturalization Service, when he applied in 1993 to come to the United States as a Bosnian refugee. He was later released on bail.

Mr. Faraj worked for three years until June as a resident in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said.

As recently pointed out by Ed Lake, Kathy Ngyuen worked at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, a subsidiary of Lenox Hill Hospital.

So we have this doctor working there, writing a paper on Nguyen’s death from inhalational anthrax (from her workplace), and then the FBI arresting him for terrorism. Small world, eh?

Prosecutors accused Faraj of submitting an immigration affidavit saying he would financially support Amir Abdulrazzak whom they called a suspected al-Qaida associate. They said the basis for that belief was that Abdulrazzak had stayed at a house in Bosnia believed to be owned by a man who had contacts with an unidentified person whom they called Osama bin Laden's chief terrorism coordinator. Prosecutors declined to name that person.

ZackaandPook is Dr Watson in this case, he was the person who found this. It’s an incredible piece of information, I believe.
It cannot be denied that Nguyen’s death is a mystery and what a coincidence she worked at Lenox - but how close to the good doctor?
One can now speculate over the usual wide range of scope. From the FBI know he was involved but arrested him on another charge - to the FBI looked at every Dr at Lenox, found one with dodgy papers and a AQ charity connection, and then almost treated him like a Hatfill or Berry, only this time actually arresting him, but not mentioning anthrax.
One thing is interesting - do you think the FBI ever mentioned the word “anthrax” when questioning him?

The Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital (MEE&TH), where Kathy Nguyen worked in the stockroom, is located at 210 East 64th Street.

Lenox Hill Hospital which owned MEE&TH until recently, is located at 100 East 77th Street, nearly a mile away. That's where Hassan Faraj worked as an intern.

Someone is trying to make a connection where there really is no connection.
