Who benefits from such ridiculous legislation? Is there really a large constituency demanding to use the toilets in the “other guy’s” bathroom? Or is this just top-down marxism aimed at destroying the status quo?

This statement is very telling - “if people want to try to gather signatures, to put a measure that’s been signed, passed unanimously by the council and signed into law by the executive, that’s their right.” -

Meaning how dare the little people question their betters.
