“Fred has a C rating on immigration, just above McCain’s D. I’d like to know that is acceptable if you reject the other people listed.”

There is a big difference. Fred’s “C” rating was a result of his voting record many years ago when he was in the Senate. Illegal immigration wasn’t on anyone’s (except perhaps Hunter’s) radar screen).

Since then the populace has become more aware because the situation has gotten worse. Thompson caught on, the others did not. They ended up on the wrong side. Against the American citizens...

Bush has been terrible and McCain has been worse. Both are traitors in my book.

You are offering excuses. 2002 is not exactly “many years ago” in my book. Illegal immigration has been on the radar since 1991 when Buchanan damaged Bush with that ridiculous campaign of his. It was well known issue all throughout the Nineties, only obscured until recently by 9/11 (which was after 7 of Fred’s 8 years in the Senate). It is well known further that Fred was a close colleague of McCain in the Senate (and they remain good friends to this day).

“Both are traitors in my book.”

Fred would surely not approve. Anyway, strident rhetoric only marginalizes one’s message.
