I know a lot of people here want Clinton to win the nomination because she seems to be so beatable in the general election. I’m firmly in the other camp however, with those who want to see her gone as soon as possible.
I view it as having a dark celler infested with rats, along with a single poisonous snake. You could encourage the snake as it killed the rats one by one, and then go down to kill the snake after it had eliminated all the rats. But what happens if you trip, or make some other kind of mistake? Maybe the snake, as slow and stupid as it may be, ends up killing you after all. I say try to dispatch the snake at the very earliest opportunity, even if it leaves you with a rat problem that you have to solve later.

How many sycophants are going to go down with them, and will thier be enough Democrats left when the smoke clears to rebuild a new Democratic Party from the ashes of the Clinton Legacy??

Reminds me of the line from the Princess Bride. "Mostly dead is still partly alive". Clinton Inc is like the monster in some horror flick, no matter how many times you kill them, they always come back.
Here is what is going one. New Democrat Primary, same old drama queen media's "horse race" template.
1st they puff up a front runner, then they manufacture some hype about the front runner "faltering" campaign, then when the "faltering campaign" wins one of the early primaries they start hyper ventilating about the "comeback kid" and their amazing come from behind victory. Then after building up momentum for the "comeback kid" they start beating up the challengers for not "getting out of a race they cannot win".
In the alternate universe of the NYT and its weird readers, things are never quite what they may seem. When Clinton first ran for Senator, the Slimes raked her over the coals unmercifully--then endorsed her.
Like Halle Berry when she won the Oscar as the first Black female to do so, her Mom was no where to be seen, likewise for Obama, is there a reason to be ashamed of your White parents?
His Mom is no longer around but I understand his matermal grandparents are.

2. The next time you become outraged over a MSAAM headline, calm down. It probably isn’t true.
3. Whatever the MSAAM is backing, I’m backing away from it. A sound litmus for this age of deception and ignorance.
4. If the media promotes it, it is probably a lie and will eventually cost you either your life, your liberty or your sanity.
5. Don’t trust anyone over thirty ESPECIALLY if they are a liberal college professor or MSAAM journalist.
NOTE: This litmus may also be applied to many of the aged (and second generation), hippie left over drug stunted academic bourgoise lemming professors in our institutions of higher learning. Their mantra was “challenge the establishment”. Yet they have become the establishment and their narrow thinking is rarely challenged. Debate is healthy. Research and data from sources other than the circularly validating usual sources should be encouraged. Rather than punish, truth and observable data that contradicts their elitist agendae should be met with maturity and a willingness to “learn”.

I agree. I think that Edwards is sitting there in the background, not making enemies, and waiting to pick up the pieces.
Liberals and the NYT are for the dem candidate who will frighten conservatives the most. They’ve made their choice. They believe conservatives will be more scared of a black man than a white lady.
