Thats one of the things that perplexes me. Those that rant against the MSM and its plausiblity, then quote verbatom when it fits their thinking. Funny.

Yes, some of the surprises will include that Fred doesn’t believe the federal government has the power to codify the social conservative agenda.
This has to do with his core principal of federalism - Article I, Section 8 powers only for the feds, all others to the states per the 10th.
Dirty little secret: Fred has had as many stops a day or more than the other candidates. It is simply reported as lackadazical and no fire in the belly. It’s the MSM template, don’t you know?
I truly believe that the MSM makes disparaging remarks about Fred or ignores him intentionally because they don’t want him to be our nominee. They know that he’ll be harder for the demonRat candidate to beat than any of the so-called frontrunners.

0ur MSM hates any true Conservative. Witness their treatment of Fred and Hunter—even Fox leaves Fred off all their polls.
Every adjective used is either belittling or demeaning for either man.

Letting the MSM choose our candidate is like letting the opposing manager pick your starting pitcher.
Politically..I think he's playing it correctly. He felt esrly on that no clear cut favorite would emerge from the early races..so why waste the effort and money. I think the push in Iowa now is because they don't believe ( nor do I) the polls showing Huckabee's lead.

I think the above will be true no matter who wins. I do however believe there may be fewer surprises with Thompson than perhaps with either Romney or Guiliani.
Reagan wasn’t perfect, despite the hagiography lavished on him over the past 10 years.
Not just about Fred.... They "believe" the MSM when it feeds their fears or their biases. The MSM "lies" when it goes against their preconceptions.
