I believe it will have a massive impact on this country and every one of us. I agree, yorkie....and it'll be a very bad impact.

My mind isn’t yet, either; that’s why I keep reading....best way to keep an open mind is to continue to read all views and know much.
To: nicmarlo; devolve
You’re right. We don’t have a ‘super-star’ candidate so it is harder.

Plus...we’ve been fooled before. Keeping eyes wide open is the best way to go, imho.

“This fence isnt going to be built. Its all political posturing. It costs too much, and people don’t want to give up their property to build it. That’s reality.”
And... that is what Fred Thompson will say if he is elected, about the same time he signs an amnesty bill. Why? because that is what moderates do, run as conservatives to get elected and then shaft us by governing as centrists. We can take heart in the fact that the media will praise him for growing in the job! Just some more reality.

It costs $3 billion for prisons for illegals, not to mention the damage to folks homes, etc., so we can’t afford not to build this fence.

“If fences dont work, then Bush should remove the one surrounding the White House.”
I think we need 2 groups of protesters. One at the White House protesting to tear it down and the other at the border protesting to build it.
The 2 will be asked if they are for or against fences and the response should be, either they work, so build it (on the southern border), or they don’t so tear it down (at the White House).
I am for building the fence on the border, and not just the southern border, but we can certainly start there.

No. But you knew that already.

Amen to that.
