As I said, my apologies if that wasn’t the case. You seemed to be making a big deal about Romney doing something that wasn’t mandated & that the vast, vast majority people don’t do. I feel comfortable in saying, that along w/ probably 99% of the people here, I would never, nor have I ever, asked for id from individual workers on my home. That’s what research on the company is all about. Big gov.’t is about getting into people’s personal business, id’s etc. I as a conservative, am totally against that.

So, IF I’m correct, & 99% here have never done it, why should Romney be held to a different standard? It might be called a double standard. Kind of like what the MSM & libs use. Not conservatives. But, just my opinion.

I never addressed Romney, for that reason and other’s, none of your posts to me or about me make any sense.

All homeowners, especially husbands and parents should ID all workmen that come to your home, and before you let a contractor bid on a job tell them during the initial phone call that no strangers enter your property without you seeing their identification.

Let any potential bidder know that any men sent to your home better have some legitimate ID, even more ID than they have to show the bouncer to get into a bar.

I am a Southern California contractor that is trying to get guys like you to quit spreading this idea that homeowners are forbidden to or shouldn’t ID anyone that wants to enter their property.

Advising homeowners to not let strangers on their property by identifying all workman is not a platitude, it is good solid advice, it seems to annoy you because it would have the effect of forcing you to hire only legal workers.

I'm sorry. I have to see your papers. You said it was perfectly alright for private citizens to demand to see them. I don't beleive you are a contractor. I think you are an illegal immigrant plant on FR bashing Tancredo because you really want to stay here in the US and are hoping amnesty happens.
