“Conservatives, by and large, support Romney. Bork, Tancredo etc great americans and know what they are talking about”

Romney is a phony.

Dio, your Romney quotes where he talks about not being particularly conservative are here.

BORK???!!!! He’s an authoritarian, statist right winger. Not a friend of liberty and freedom!

Bork is downright hostile to the RKBA interpretation of the 2nd amendment.

He has also called the 9th amendment, I would argue the most important of them all, an “ink blot” whose meaning can’t be deciphered.

He’ an advocate of active government censorship.

Tanc carried the water in a big way on the illegal immigration issue. But I don’t think many of those who admire him will will support Romney!

A liberal hypocrite.

I’ll keep saying (and typing) this about Romney...

In 2004, we hammered Kerry for appearing arrogant, being a flip-flopper and prone to putting his foot in his mouth. So now, why is it suddenly OK for the GOP to nominate a candidate with those same characteristics?

So tompster, are you actually implying that a vast majority of Free Republic members are working with KOS and DU?

I thought he was speaking figuratively. ;-)

"Some people in this forum (who support the CFR guy with ultra liberal record with Kennedy and Feingold) work together with DNC and DailyKos and spread the same BS stories about Romney."

So sad and very true and to such a degree they no longer have credibility.

The general opinion of Tanc just tanked.

In his own words:

“I supported Romney,” Tancredo said later on Fox News Channel. “I had an interesting and lengthy discussion with him this morning about his plan. I believe it’s viable. I believe he’ll stick with it, and he’s got the best shot.”

“He has a solid record that matches his rhetoric,” said Tancredo, who turned 62 yesterday.

Why not? Or just because they are a hypocrite?

Romney will give us a “figurative” fence.

Thanks CrippleCreek. I don’t think Tancredo realized how pi—ed his supporters are about illegal immigration. If he thinks they’re going to Romney, he’s dilusional.

There is much too like about Tancredo. With this wise endorsement, I like him even more. Time for some others to drop out and follow Tanc’s lead.

The chameleon that is Romney will soon shift back to whatever he was before he was seeking national office. We have a totally different animal than what sought and won the governor’s mansion in one of the most liberal states.

I think Tancredo is suffering from HGDS, as are a number of normally Conservative people going out of their way to endorse anyone they think has a chance to keep Hillary and Giuliani out of the White House.

Some people here constantly distribute the same liberal hitpieces about Mitt (e.g. Boston Globe BS stories) while at the same time condemning MSM (i.e. every MSM poll that does not show certain no-hope loser leading is “rigged”, “garbage” or part of VAST RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY, led by Fox News).

The very same people openly boasted few weeks ago that were happily supporting MSM efforts to sink Guliani with BS stories. Yes, I think it is fair to say that some people here are happily working together DNC/MSM and trying to defeat both Romney (and other candidates, using DNC/MSM material and talking points).

Thanks for posting this video. No mention of this story in my local newspaper. Romney is emerging as the lone conservative, after Hunter and Thompson drop out. Tancredo looks at Romney's record as he governed to make his endorsement. Take that Huck, Rudy, and John.

So you are accusing people on Free Republic of working with KOS and the DNC as well....

Interesting...

Never occurred to you that some of us have not bought the hype, that the articles posted are generally available and the facts in many cases are not in dispute even by Mitt Romney.

Sad thing is you Mitt folks are desperate enough here on FR to even say something so stupid...

But let us say it is true. Given the numbers from the member polls, the vast majority of Free Republic members support Thompson among the current “front runners”. That means that this site is ‘infested” with us liberal loving DNC plants.

Then I have to ask, why are you here?
