"I dont understand dramatic exits from internet websites. Am I missing something?"After a few years 'talking' with a bunch of people via keyboard it doesn't seem too very odd that someone would want to say 'so long' when departing.
And best of luck to Luke...

You're gonna miss the election circus!
Good luck with your new effort, I hope you make it pay off...

Cool way to opus: an Irish blessing. The few times I’ve seen your FR screenname, I’ve always chuckled because it was an imaginative choice. Best wishes.

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

Let go Luke. Use the force. Feel it flowing through you.
There is a strong force in this one.
All the best.

Regarding personal goals.... serendipity rules.
You can strive and strive and the desired goal will still be just beyond your grasp. Something totally off the wall will happen that might be bad but more likely good. The old ways will be swept away in the total rush of the wonderful new that unimaginably came about.

I feel completely let down. Where's the whining? The pathos? The screamed assertions that FR is "just not what it used to be"? Come now, you can do a
much better job on an Opus than that! I know you have it in you. Now, get right back to your keyboard and do it right!
On a more serious note, good luck with whatever it is that you feel you need to do. May the Lord bless your endevour, and send you back here soon.

Two years is a long time, Luke. I found being a love slave to a stable of supermodels got boring after only about six months. Well, don't say I didn't warn you.
Best of luck! ;-)

Until you return.
Best of success.

Gee, how hard is it to just pop in here for a few minutes a week or so? It will be hard to stay away during this election year.
Are your goals to save the gorillas in Africa or something?
Good luck to you.
