When you read history, you can’t help but wonder how ancient super powers that were once centers of knowledge and culture became third world countries, but you can see it happening before your eyes. The U.K. might have been better off if it had lost WWII.
That's right ... but you don't have to look to England. It's happening much closer to home. We're several years behind England, but we're walking the same path.
