Man, I think that is a great idea. And while we are at it, where is the little girl’s dad?

It is a good question about where is the little girl’s dad.
I wondered it myself. I hate to think he really is deployed and that a mom would even suggest such an outcome for the sake of concert tickets.
This thread has gone the wrong way with blaming Hannah Montana....it is about decency and a mother robbing her daughter of a lesson in values.
I don’t agree with the Libby Lu experience for girls under 10 either. Feather boas and hair extensions on a 5 yr old is ugly.

I posted on a couple of the other threads on this topic that there was an interview with the young neighbor of this little girl on our local news right before the football game.

The neighbor said that the little girl is one of three children in the family, there are two parents and the father is a carpet-layer. He has *never* served in the military.

Before hearing that, there had been a news report earlier today that it was the grandmother who ratted them out on the lie, but she said the little girl’s father was deployed in Iraq, but still alive.

Perhaps it is a Traveler family, come to think of it.

I don’t know if the update is posted, but I read that Club Libby Lu has given the tickets to a new winner.
Good.
