I have studied and educated myself in this area substantially and I don't understand US policy objectives in the the area any more than Wolfdog does. Why don't you just explain it to all us dummies. Just a suggestion.

I am glad that when someone says ‘I don’t understand why the US does this’ we have self-appointed posters like yourself to avoid actually answering the question or providing a single iota of information, you simply suggest the poster go educate themselves.
