Amen.
The conservative establishment and many here on FR are missing the story. There’s a force moving and many conservatives are behind the curve — including Rush.
This force is not fitting the personal views of many conservatives. We’ll see how it all plays out, but the know it alls probably have a lot of frustrating days ahead.

I just hope Iowa doesnt reflect the rest of the nation. If it does, were screwed.
Yep.

"I am close to someone who knows Bush & Rove and can tell you that - despite the media trying to cast Huck as a Bush basher, Bush AND Rove are pulling for Huck."
Something smells like crap. Oh, it is what you are shoveling. GW and Rove are not pulling for Huck. You make an assertion like that, you had better be willing to name your source and back it up with proof.

I agree with you about Rollins but I would take any current Republican candidate _except for Dr. Paul who is the logical Libertarian extreme - over any of the potential crop of Dims.

So Rollins works for Perot and we end up with Clinton. Twice. Huck is from Hope Ark.
Just too many coincidences there...
To: MrArbitrage123
I neither know nor care anything about Mr. Rollins, but Huckabee is not an honorable man.

The treatment Fox News and "conservative" celebrities like Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham & Sean Hannity have given to Mike Huckabee is deserving of shame and infamy. Don't forget to including El Rushbo in your comments. He apparently thought he could snuff out Huckabee by attacking him and may be finding that he really is out of touch with the grassroots.
Of course, Rush has even lowered himself to casting Iowa Republicans that participated in the caucus as extremists to try and diminish Huckabee's victory.

Are you prepared for Mike Huckabee to lose the primaries? Are you prepared for the possibility that he may win the Republican nomination?
Who is going to beat him? Flip Romney who is fading fast? "Maverick" backstabber John McCain? Gun-grabbing, pro-abortion adulterer Rudy Giuliani?

Remember, Pat Robertson won here in 1988, so what does that tell you? Um, Robertson finished second in Iowa in 1988...Nor did he ever hold elected office, let alone serve as governor of a state.
The reality is that no Republican nominee in the past 40 years has won the nomination without winning Iowa or New Hampshire or both. I doubt that changes this year.

So now someone who goes around saying he wants to knock Romneys teeth out is a hero to Republicans. But, Rollins was speaking figuratively, much as Willard was when he claimed to he "saw" his father marching with Martin Luther King Jr. in his own mind.

Having a strong economy and a good environment for business is how you help workers Wouldn't Huckabee's fair tax plan accomplish that?

A few weeks ago, Hugh Hewitt had a sage observation. If Huckabee gets the nod, the GOP will lose all 50 states in the national election. You mean the same sellout that encouraged conservatives to support Harriet Miers and supports Willard Romney, who was named the #8 RINO in the country by Human Events magazine in 2005?

Rollins and The Huckster cooked up the scheme to make a smear ad, then dishonestly act like they were killing it, while getting it free air time. That is dishonest, immoral, and corrupt. If that’s what the GOP wants in its nominee, that is distressing.
Also distressing is seeing so many conservatives rallying around a big spending, high taxing, pro-amnesty food fascist liberal RINO like The Huckster.

Fred was my first choice. But, there comes a time when one must face reality and admit he has next to no chance of winning the nomination.
