Seriously, a laser large enough to cook someone’s brain would have to be fairly large and difficult to aim at a moving object. I would think the good people of Rawalpindi (sp?) would have noticed a tank-sized device being manhandled into place, too.
That’s sort of what I thought. The ones I saw were BIG...certainly not very portable...not so much of their size per-se, but because of the power required to operate them! The guys running the lab I used to visit soaked up more power per month than a BIG data center just up the road!
