I use the word pimping to emphasize his blatant use of Christ’s good name to pump up his personal image. When in reality he is using his faith as a form of commercial endorsement.
Again, we are electing a president not the pope of the United States. We are a country of 300 million, of which not all are Christan. While I like his moral compass, if in fact he IS a good Christan. Most of us conservatives dislike his populist fiscal policies and his potential for Nanny state politics.
I submit he is hiding behind his faith because of serious deficiencies in other very important areas.
While not lending credence to your statement, nor denying it, it is irrelevant to the test at hand. Attacking Huckabee by way of his Christianity will only cause his base to cling all the harder- Christians are used to being bashed, and tend to stick together in such conditions.
Attacking him for his liberalism will do nothing whatsoever unless they have somewhere else to go- I don't believe they will jump to any of the top tier, unless they break up and diffuse into multiple campaigns, which is a bad thing.
Huck and Fred are splitting the Conservative vote, especially with Paul sucking up the Libertarians. The only result is a RINO victory in the primary, and a predictable loss in th general.

Not according to the Christians. It is their desire to see a man of faith in the top position in the country. If you want their vote, give them what they need.
