Wasn’t there a Freeper who broke this story like a month ago? I remember he posted tons of crazy Paul newsletters on separate posts and people thought it was a Paul supporter when in fact the freeper was dissing Paul.

He wasn’t going to win anything anyway so that doesn’t change anything.
Generally if i hear bigoted racist homophobe shtick, I immediately stop listening to whoever makes the claim.
RP’s anti-war views put him in the reject box a long time ago.

The New Republic and the NR pieces are flying all over the internet right now.
Had Ron Paul been higher in the polls, earlier, this all would have been common knowledge by now.

I recall RPaul’s positions on the middle east — his “libertarian” position was whatever hurt Israel the most — so the revelation that Paul was an active bigot is unsurprising.
At least Paul showed the “anti-war” left to be what it is: old fashioned fascism repackaged for the modern era.

Methinks Paul didn’t have a ghost of a chance anyway.

I agree with several of his statements. I am sure that many people on FR do.
To: seanmerc
From the pajamas media article -
"I might add, on a personal note, that as a libertarian with significant sympathy for Pauls platform, I initially viewed claims of his past history of racism skeptically. But the evidence is so overwhelming that the defense of Paul is now, itself, indefensible"
At least the author has some convictions. Paul supporters do not. They give FR a bad stench and should be flushed.

Many of these statements are obviously true.

The amazing thing is that he’s been elected to Congress five times so far.

How did the GOP disavow David Duke? I don’t remember.
How would a three-way race with a third party Paul running against a black Democrat and a yet unpicked Republican work?

Black males age 13 that have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary, and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such. What is untrue about this statement?

I do not support Ron Paul.
These remarks, taken out of context and many of them accurate, constitutes a hit piece.

Ron Paul has been sending me his newsletter for years. I have always wondered why a Libertarian wanted to be elected by republicans.

It would help to have more context on these quotes. A lot of the claims that were made in the article were very disturbing but they did not seem to backed up by the actual Ron Paul quotes which except for two or three were not all that controversial.
