I've debated white supremacists and can attest to the fact they Paul is one of their heroes.

See post #110- it was a Freeper who originally did a lot of the footwork on this, finding and scanning the original newsletters.
A lot of those statements of Paul’s are actually true, not racist. But the ones he’s going to really get hammered with, IMO, are these two, which are over the top:
I think we can safely assume that 95% of the black males in that city [Washington, D.C.] are semi-criminal or entirely criminal.
We are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, but it is hardly irrational.

HIT IT’S WEAKPOINT FOR MASSIVE DAMAGE!
>The New Republic piece has already been posted. This summarizes the NR piece and has some other startling revelations. Methinks Paul is in trouble...<
Methinks you need to come back and answer some of the posts that have been sent to you so you don’t look like a coward.
How can the powers that be and the supporters of main stream Republican candidates be so afraid of a man they say will never win?
If he has no chance to win or gain a national support, why is it so necessary to write vile and distorted articles about him?
If he is nuts and all of him supporters are nuts or kooks, why is it that instead of being ignored, a massive (and I mean massive) effort is being made to discredit him?

An awful lot of that makes sense, and much of what doesn’t obviously is taken out of context. What little is left may be nutty, but no more so or more frequently than the other candidates.
Only difference, if any, is that he’s rather blunt.
If not attributed to RP, methinks most of the anti-RP crowd would be vigorously agreeing with the quotes.
Everyone else is invited to cherry pick an interesting quote, good, bad, or indifferent. I think this one is spot-on.
MORE THAN EVER. There is a reason paranoia is called a mental illness.
Why did they wait until most of the votes were in to come out with this? Ron Paul is going to finish 3rd and raise millions from his “victory”.
The consensus here on FR is that Dr. Paul is a nut, has no chance of winning and hates America. That being said why is there so much bandwidth spent trashing the guy? If he’s such a non-entity then just ignore him.
Update, especially for everyone defending the comments. The Paul campaign has just denounced them and said anyone who thinks this way is small minded.

I agree with you, and his issued statement doesn’t suffice.
Don’t judge the MLK allegations until you’ve seen the sealed FBI information.
Wait a minute folks, Dr. Ron has taken “moral responsibility” for decades of insane ramblings and bigoted commentary made under his [cough] “good” name.
Nothing more to see here people. Never mind your questions on what exactly “moral responsibility” is or how it relates to this campaign. Just go about your business you haters.
When will The New Republic be publishing an expose of the obvious racism of the only man running a campaign based on his race? Well, half race.
That would not be Mr. Paul.
