Unfortunately there are lots of people who ARE listening to him. He’s raised an awful lot of money. Besides, the man is a sitting US congressman. Not sure how compatible some of his views are with the oath he swore before taking office.
There is no shortage of kooks in Congress -- on either side of the aisle.
The Democrats have their Communist caucus, after all.
