The worst thing I can say about Obama is he’s a card-carrying Democrat. By definition that means he believes in Al Gore’s global warming hoax, amnesty for illegal aliens, and having unelected judges make laws. However, Obama is the best person the insane Democrats have.

Sad to say, too many voters won’t respond to this. If you want to discredit Obama, you need to start making comparisons to one Jimmuh Carter. When he ran for president, as incompetent as he was, Carter had at least been a state governor. Obama can’t even claim that.

But look at the way he DOES compare to Carter:
1. Carter claimed to be a Washington outsider.
2. Obama claims he is a Washington outsider.
3. Carter claimed that he could change the way business gets done in Washington.
4. Obama says he will be the instrument of (all together now) “C-H-A-N-G-E”.
5. Other than his record as a mediocre governor (a one-termer at that, I believe!), Carter had no major political experience and brought nothing but Rosalyn, Amy, and his brother Billy to the WH.
6. Obama’s claim to fame appears to be a record in the Illinois state house that rivals John Kerry’s in the U.S. Senate (although without Kerry’s longevity), and 2 years in the US senate. Not exactly a glowing resume for a president.

(For those from Rio Linda, Kerry’s biggest accomplishment in the US Senate has been to keep dust from collecting on his senate seat and marrying wealthy widows)

I stopped reading right there. Not a single person has ever been born a Muslim. Or a Christian for that matter. Religion is something you choose to believe in, not something in your DNA.

You clearly have no understanding of Islam and Muslims. He could never have set foot in a mosque his whole life, and he would still be a Muslim and an apostate, because his father was a Muslim. That he did step foot in a mosque and in madrassas, and pray to Allah only makes it worse in the eyes of Muslims. The religion with a prophet who married 6 year old girls does not care that Obama was 6-10 years old when he was going to Mosque.

It is not a minor issue; Muslims are commanded to kill him. It is one of the clearer laws of sharia. They just killed a Christian woman in Egypt because her father put himself down as Muslim when he was young in order to get a job. The woman was born and raised a Christian. When she listed herself as Christian on a marriage application, they saw that her father was Muslim (if only for a few days), and decided she was an apostate.

And part of my point is that even if he never really embraced Islam, he will still be viewed as an Apostate to the 1.4 Billion muslims in the world. So the argument of rather he really was/is a muslim or not is not as critical as the fact that electing him would put the US president square in the sights of 1.4 Billion people obligated to kill him as an offense to Islam. So much for the supposed care dems have for uniting not dividing the world.

I think many are simply missing the point. I agree with what you have to say, what disturbs many is not that he was once a practicing Muslim, but that he has gone out of his way (often aided by the MSM) to either deny it or simply hide the fact.

I once posted here at FR that what disturbed me about Clinton wasn't so much the fact that he had sex with once of his staff, but of the fact that he lied about it and then tried to cover it up.

Been busy at work so have been on and off periodically, but in my spare time I've been tracking down a few more leads in Indonesia.

Hope to have more up soon on Obama's "mengaji" classes.

It would seem that there might be some actual truth to the madrassa rumours. He didn't exactly attend a madrassa but he did attend Quranic recitation courses - and his father and mother were more devout Muslims that many are claiming.

Please name the credible Islamic sources -- clergy, political, social -- who have said that Obama is an apostate Muslim and must be killed specifically for that reason.

He makes the case that, regardless of whether Obama is a Muslim, an apostate, or whatever, he is still viewed as a Muslim by Muslims.

I agree with your observation about Obama's racist, Marxist and socialist views being troubling, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be concerned about his dissimulation.
