'Tell me again what have they done?' (Endorses Hunter)

Everyone has the personal favorites in this election, and there is a lot of talk going on about what they will do, not a bunch about what they have done. I like Duncan Hunter simply because this man can point to his past record and say been there done that, so tell me again what have they done? Duncan Hunter was responsible for building a fence along the Mexico and US border in San Diego, cutting smuggling of people and drugs by over 90%, now tell me again what have they done?

Duncan Hunter served with the 173rd Airborne and the 75th Army rangers in Vietnam, his Father a Marine in the South Pacific during WWII, and now his oldest son is an Iraq war veteran with two tours of duty as a Marine, Tell me again what have they done? This man is pro life, pro military and pro America, so tell me again what have they done?

Oh yes, I remember now, John McCain the favorite in New Hampshire tried to give amnesty to 12 – 20 million illegal immigrants, called us names like nativists and racist, can’t imagine why I just do not want to vote that man. Mitt I am sorry but the only thing I remember about you is that you railed against illegal immigration while having an illegal working in your yard and only fired the company he worked for after the debate where illegal immigration was center stage, come one now surely you know better than to think I would vote for him. To be honest up until I decided to check out Duncan Hunter I did not care much for any of the conservative candidates, Thompson who has a pro life stance is against charging the mother or doctor after an abortion if it becomes illegal, Rudy says that being in our country illegally shouldn’t be illegal because we can’t prosecute them all and either did not know that New York was a sanctuary city on 9/11 or is lying either choice doesn’t look very good for him.

I am not going to say anything more about Ron Paul except that I cannot in good conscience vote for that man, by they way I have enough Ron Paul people emailing me to try and change my mind, it isn’t going to work simply because I do not believe that anyone in our government masterminded 9/11 so save your fingers. The simple fact of the matter is I can look at my candidates record and see what he has done, I don’t have to put my hopes in what he or she may do if they get elected, so tell me again what have they done….

Hunter's record of achievement and leadership in the conservative movement surpasses than of any mayor or governor or senator.

And yet the party in its infinite wisdom decrees that we can’t hear him in tonight’s debate. What a crock.

I got an email awhile back when Joseph Farah at WorldnetDaily endorsed Hunter. I hope its okay to excerpt some of Farah’s article:

“Therefore, today I make a new, personal endorsement for the Republican nomination – Duncan Hunter.....

He’s my guy because on all the major issues facing this country, Hunter is right. And he is a proven leader who gets the job done....

Illegal immigration and border security: Duncan Hunter takes a backseat to no one on this issue.....

Threat of Islamo-fascism: Hunter recognizes the gravity of the war.........

Our cultural meltdown: Hunter rejects the madness of political correctness.............

The economy: Duncan Hunter will fight the mindless globalization .....

Matters of life and death: Hunter is steadfastly and consistently pro-life.....

The point is this: We don’t have to settle for less......”

Read the rest of the article at Worldnetdaily.

Duncan Hunter Banks On Florida

The following email was written by Duncan Hunter’s Florida Campaign Chief of Staff, Chuck Winn (Colonel, U.S. Army, retired), immediately following the results of the NH Primary. While the message is long it is uplifting and one you will certainly want to share with your friends.

Duncan Hunter has not been expending heavy resources on targets of marginal value like IA and NH. He’s only gone through the motions to take advantage of free media opportunities. His priority has been defining the critical substantive issues that will shape the future of our Nation and very likely, western civilization. At the same time he has been building his campaign organization for the critical Florida primary on 29 Jan and the Super Tuesday primaries which follow on 5 Feb.

Get ready to welcome defectors from the fallen media-fabricated titans. Beneath the surface of tonight’s media hype, the NH primary results provide more good news for Congressman Hunter, the true Reagan conservative in the Presidential race. Since 1978, southern NH has undergone exponential development becoming a virtual suburb of Boston . Therefore, the NH results have shattered the media-fabricated conservative candidacy of the former Mass Governor who spent millions in IA and NH. Another big spender mortally wounded in NH is former Senator Fred Thompson. Those who were succumbing to the constant bombardment by media elites, especially by Fox, marketing the pseudo conservative candidates, now have grave doubts about their electability. They will not realize that both candidates had very modest records of achievement in their limited time in public office. Well, watch them now take a second look at Duncan .

Although Senator McCain is a great warrior and patriot with a good Defense record, he has totally failed to recognize that a strong economy is the critical foundation of a sound national security strategy. His past support of such schemes like NAFTA and horrendous attempts to grant amnesty to illegals was tantamount to an assault on America ‘s well paid middle class workers. His support of so called “campaign finance reform” resulted in a defacto incumbents protection act at the expense of muzzling free expression.

Duncan Hunter has championed a strong military, border security, and protecting America ‘s workers and small businesses against unfair trade competition by opposing schemes like NAFTA, the North American Union and outsourcing to China . He wisely recognizes that protecting jobs in U.S. defense, aircraft, ship repair, machine tools, textile, steel and titanium industries are essential for maintaining the wartime surge capacity of the U.S. industrial base. Since 9-11-01, he has led the fight to secure our borders against terrorists and lawless elements.

For 15 years, major strategic mistakes have been made by Administrations of both political parties because they lacked substantial military and foreign policy experience. This is not gained by a governor calling out the National Guard for state duty, or by a mayor responding to a highly localized terrorist attack, no matter how admirably. Rather, it comes form mastering the economic, diplomatic, military and intergovernmental elements of our national power to shape sound security strategy and policy. Congressman Hunter cannot only tactically, operationally and strategically employ our forces, but also balance those other elements of power with equally superior competency to restore America ‘s greatness. Now Americans will wake up and realize that they don’t have to “settle.”

Since 1981, Congressman Duncan Hunter has served on the House Armed Services Committee, as Chairman from 2002-06, and currently as the Ranking Minority Member. Hunter has championed a strong military, border security, and protecting America’s workers and small businesses against unfair trade competition by opposing schemes like NAFTA and the North American Union. He understands that protecting jobs in U.S. defense, aircraft, ship repair, machine tools, textile, steel and titanium industries are essential for maintaining the surge capacity of the U.S. industrial base. Since 9-11-01, Hunter has led the fight to secure our borders against transnational terrorists and lawless elements; and to release two unjustly convicted border guards, Ramos and Campion.

Hunter earned the Combat Infantryman’s Badge and Bronze Star in Vietnam and demands that the U.S. Government keep its promises to Veterans. His efforts to provide tax relief for working families, protect Social Security, and promote strong family values earned him 100% ratings from Eagle Forum, the American Conservative Union, the Concerned Women of America, the Christian Coalition, and the Campaign for Working Families; a 92% from the American Conservative Union; and an A+ from the NRA.

Vote for Duncan Hunter, a true Reagan Republican in the Presidential primary on January 29th. We don’t have to settle for a self-reinvented or media-fabricated one.

I have a question to pose to Hunter’s supporters here.
As everyone knows, Hunter is not going to be the nominee. But he does have a delegate pledged to him, and he does have some modest support, perhaps 1-2%, in many states which have not voted yet. He may have the opportunity to pick up a delegate here and there as he did in Wyoming.
So Hunter is not without some influence in the nomination, however small.

So here’s the question:
Who do you think Hunter will endorse, either before the convention or when brokering a nominee?

Do you think he will throw his support to Fred Thompson, or Mike Huckabee, or someone else?
I think most Hunter supporters assume it would be Thompson, but I disagree. I think it will be Huckabee. Religion and abortion are central themes for Hunter. So is trade protectionism. Finally, Huckabee is _now_ calling for all kinds of drastic measures on the border (never mind his dismal record in Arkansas). To me, it looks like Huckabee is most like Hunter’s kind of candidate based on the issues most important to him.

And now the bonus question:
For the advanced students — No one candidate will be able to win the nomination. It will take two combining their delegates to win. Behind the scenes McCain and Huckabee are forming an alliance against a Thompson-Romney pairing. McCain will not take the VP slot, and Huckabee will defer to him. Huckabee will be giving McCain his delegates at the convention in exchange for the VP slot, as Romney will do for Thompson. Hunter will give his delegate(s) to Huckabee, which then will be transferred to McCain.

Are you comfortable knowing that ultimately, your vote for Hunter will be going to help nominate John McCain — a McCain-Huckabee ticket specifically — either through an actual transfer of delegates, or by simply taking votes from someone else like Thompson?

Yup,a sign that emotions are starting to run HIGH on the Duncan Hunter censorship issue. If you don't fit into the MSM defined Utopia they want to create, then you are NOT heard. Such is American democracy today. Without the media King Makers, you are consigned to oblivion. And the MSM wants Obama, who is right up there with Idi Amin as far as I am concerned. Idi Amin Obama. has a nice ring to it.Thats what the MSM is trying to do to America.Hunter is the only candidate who can stop Obama.

Well, I will write in Duncan. Thats all I can do.

Obama is an Islamofascist supporter, born, bred, and in action:

I believe that Duncan is the only man who can stop Obama. Thats one reason he is being left out. Obama belongs in the same pantheon as Idi Amin. Idi Amin Obama. Obamas true face.

Perhaps Duncan needs to go on an Obama attack, and have his ammo ready. If not, the MSM will consign him to oblivion.

I hope the Hunter campaign is up on Obama. I have sent you some link info, also available above in my previous post on this thread.

Danial Pipes is also going to use this info. as source material in his next article on Obama's Kenyan Islamofascist escapades.

Obama won’t be the candidate IMHO. He’s way behind on superdelegates and is statistically locked with Hillary otherwise.

As of today:

Most delegates Republican: Romney with 24 (consistantly fininshing in top 3); McCain or Huckabee many less.

Most delegates Democrat: Obama with 25; but Hillary is onlt 1 vote behind.

TheGreenPapers.com will be tracking delegate counts, in both Major Parties, as both "Soft" (here assuming that relevant delegations will remain sanctioned into the respective National Conventions [that is: with no delegates to be seated at the Democratic National Convention and with but half the originally allocated delegates to be seated at the Republican National Convention]) and as "Alternative" (here assuming that the full delegation of an affected jurisdiction- as originally allocated before being sanctioned- is eventually to be seated [that is, at some point before the Conventions, sanctions will be lifted]) from now until each Major Party's respective National Convention convenes or until no delegation is any longer sanctioned, if this should occur prior to the Conventions.
