Paul is blunt in attributing 9/11 to blowback from our foreign policy while at the same time desirous of punishing those who took things into their own hands and attacked us. Some folks don’t like to hear the former. For them it’s “blame America never” with nary a thought for responsibility in regard to our conduct in relation to other peoples and cultures.
That is true. But why aren’t Germans and japs and vietnamese and panamanians and chileans and italians and serbians and kuwaitis etc etc giving us blowback like AQ?
That’s right, we are a force for good in the world. Something Paul can’t fathom.
