That's disgusting!!!

A "polling" company doesn't even have Hunter's name on their list to ask questions about -- what's that all about, except attempting to be "king makers."

You are wrong. Not only are they excluding him from this debate but in the prior debates a small number of questions were directed to him while larger numbers were given to the media favorites. Unfair format. For the N.H. debate exclusion they went by Iowa data, but ignored Hunters third place finish in Wyoming. For the S.Carolina debate FOX couldn’t go by the New Hampshire results because that would have excluded Guilianni, so they added national polling results. The result was to exclude the guy they want to exclude, Hunter. A fair format would not exclude anyone with delegates currently as well.

If they want to exclude people why not use delegate counts and start with anyone who does not have at least 1 delegate does not compete in this debate.

Because the first few states are not even close to being representative of the general electorate. You would be putting a tremendous amount of power in the hands of a very small portion of voters in a few areas to select who can participate in the debates.

FOX has gone very "tabloid" recently - dolly-bird females with short skirts; tight fitting sweaters; plunging necklines and high gloss on the lips.

The stories they focus on are hardly worthy of a serious news company. It is a tragedy for the family and friends if someone's son or daughter or wife is missing - but hardly a matter of national importance. You see dozens of pictures of missing people every day in the Post Office.

‘Badeye, you show up again and again to say how “reluctant” you allegedly are at Hunter’s “poor showing.”’

1. I post on all kinds of threads here and in other forums all day long, Monday - Friday. I can understand, due to the volume, my typing speed (wpm 120 plus) and access to a T1 line give you a misconception. Basically Navy teletype comms taught me to type as fast as a normal person can talk - spelling, grammar and punctuation take hits however (chuckle) as I’m sure you’ve noticed.

2. Hunters right on the issues. Hunter has a great voting track record, going back for years. Consistent as hell. I’m aware of it, as all you Hunter campaigners are, more or less. He’s a good man in a storm, as the saying goes.

3. He’s got all the charisma of a glass of water. Sorry, but if you were honest, you’d admit thats THE problem with his failing campaign. He knows it, so do you. There is no cure, especially at this late stage of his life, for this, if there ever was.

’ Why not tell us just who you do support, why you do, and what you are doing to help any candidate?’

So far, I’m not completely sold on anybody. My criteria, which has been consistent since 1976 for such a selection is judicial nominations, taxation, national defense, and 2nd amendment, in no particular order.

I won’t support McCain, I know Amnesty when I see it, I know CFR was an unmitigated disaster for the GOP, and I know McCain despises those of us that are Conservatives, as he demonstrates every time he has a love in on MSNBC with Mathews. Felt that way in 2000, and McCain has demonstrate I was right then dozens of times since. No thanks.

Huckabee? You gotta be kidding me! He’s the 2008 version of Jimmy Carter, supported by the exact same Evangelicals that got Carter elected in 76. Not only NO, but HELL NO.

Ron Paul? ROTFLMAO! Nuff said.

Fred Thompson? Only marginally better in gaining national attention than Duncan Hunter, his ‘walking for President’ schtick is no longer ‘a new strategy’ its becoming a sad comment on a man that doesn’t appear all that interested in the job. That said, he had a good interview and q & a on Hannity in the last hour. SC is either his launching pad, or Waterloo. Odds are against him, but we’ll see. Like Hunter, he’s right on all the issues important to me.

Guiliani? HELL NO. I know a liberal with Clinton disease when I see one. Did a great job related to the attack, but he’s a gun grabbing pants dropping GOP version of Clinton. No thanks, I don’t want to watch Judy divorce him in 09 while President.

Romney...man. I like his background as a CEO turning things around. I like his stance on the issues as he states them TODAY...but thats the problem, as many freepers have pointed out...will he stick to these positions if we support him? I honestly don’t know. I think he will, if for no other reason than he doesn’t want to be a one term President. But still...

What am I doing in this election cycle you ask.

You just witnessed it. Til I make up my mind, I’m uncommitted, but I will admit I’m leaning a bit towards Romney right now.

Month to go, it could change either way.

Thanks for your time.

'FOX has gone very "tabloid" recently"

There simply is not enough news 24 hours a day to have a news channel.

Girl fell down the well is boring after a while.

Agreed.

Whats starting to bug me is noting this sets off the Hunter backers like you just insulted their mom.

Its not, its call noting ‘reality’ as it stands today.

Well, I am glad you’re content. I am a conservative and find it hard to be content with moderates and liberals. To each his own, I suppose.

Totally, absolutely wrong. I've seen him in interviews, and the guy is charming, intelligent, articulate, and able to handle the inevitable hostility of the MSM media. If he drops out, we are stuck with Thompson as the only conservative, and he really is lacking in charisma, with his plodding, emotionless, legalistic monotone. I will be forced to back him if Hunter leaves, but without much hope that he will ever win anything. Conservatives should have gotten on the Hunter bandwagon months ago, rather than waiting for some superannuated TV to decide belatedly that he "sort of" wanted to run for President.

I think you should stop posting on bad info and watch some of the many Hunter videos on YouTube.

Isn’t “charisma” the same thing as “electability”?

Just what the hell do you propose they are doing if not putting a tremendous amount of power in the hands of a small few?

I despise the MSM....Fox included. Murdoch has legal ties to Rudy, and all his “little followers” like Barnes and Hannity still fawn over the reprobate. Barnes is “open borders” and Hannity is obtuse!!

Today is January 10th. The convention is in late summer and Election Day is in November. This is not the “mid-primary” by a long stretch.

Yes, IA & NH are not representative, but they are hyped to the heavens by the media. That's why cutting Hunter out of the NH debates was such a dastardly move by the Party's liberal elite; it kept him from getting even the least bit of exposure in these overrated contests. When Hunter had a chance, like in the TX straw poll or the NV Republican Assembly, he not only did well, he won.
