Fox News (in collusion with the SC GOP) has removed Congressman Duncan Hunter from the GOP debate lineup in Myrtle Beach on Thursday night. Just like Fox did in New Hampshire, they are banning Republican candidates who are on the ballot in South Carolina from the debate. It appears that Fox News has decided that they, not the voters, will choose the Republican nominee.

You are a day late on this...
America has a new alphabet network, F-O-X.
When will America wake up and stop following these networks and their cherry picked candidates?
I’m so riled up about all this. I want to hear more from several candidates and I don’t need other people to decide that for me. I’m pulling my hair out!
Exactly.
I've had it with them. I don't watch them anymore.
The debate should be determined by the ballot.
Ballot access is expensive and damned difficult to achieve.
Is the debate going to be televised nationally?
As you know, Duncan Hunter was excluded from the debates in Hew Hampshire and now in South Carolina. Duncan Hunter is a viable and active candidate in good standing. He had to pay $25,000 to get his name on the primary ballot in South Carolina! He has a network of volunteers that has worked very hard, but all are barred by the SC GOP from attending the debate. Worse, he is being excluded based upon one criterion imposed by Fox News: he has not garnered 5% of the national electorate as determined by recent polling.
So where is Fox News getting their poll data from? If you go to their website, Duncan Hunter is not even listed as a candidate. Furthermore, Fox News is drawing their consolidated poll data from Real Clear Politics, an online clearinghouse for dozens of polls. According to Real Clear Politics, he doesnt exist. He is nowhere in their polling data they are not even tracking him!
Therefore, Fox News is using incomplete poll data (and thereby skewed data) to exclude a candidate from the debates. Information is knowingly being withheld from voters in these early states, and their access to a Presidential candidate is barred. This, in turn, is affecting results in later states as candidates are prematurely dropped from consideration BY THE MEDIA. Not only is that unethical, it is manipulative, and it is blatantly contrary to the American electoral process. There is no one holding the SC GOP or Fox News accountable.
It is far too early to exclude candidates from the process - that is not fair to the voters. Fox News is manipulating voter access and unfortunately, the South Carolina GOP is allowing it. It is shameful and entirely anti-American.

Foxy Katon? One of the Fox babes did this?
I’m beginning to think that the lefties that call it ‘FAUX NEWS’ aren’t that far off.
It is precisely because all these news networks doing stuff like this, that few people know ho Duncan Hunter is and what he stands for.
I always knew that the media wanted to chose our leaders for us, but I had hopes that FOX would remain ‘Fair and Balanced”
Alas, now that the lefty Murdoch son is in charge, FOX is going to suck just as badly as all the rest of the networks.
The media enjoys the vetting process they use to screen our candidates..
THEY pick the candidates from both sides and consequently, we get the most liberal of both sides.
The fix is in people. This is why I’ll vote third party most likely. See tagline and Flame away.
I’ve noticed that no one seems to be asking Luntz any questions about his “unbiased” focus groups.
WOW, Thanks. Thats very significant
“It appears that Fox News has decided that they, not the voters, will choose the Republican nominee.”
We need to start right now, and tell the GOP in the next primary states to INCLUDE Duncan Hunter, one of our heros who fought for our free speech.
I don’t watch fox. I don’t know what ‘babe’, or what you consider a babe, did the kicking ;)
At least Alan Colmes is reading Sean Hannities email so he could at least ask about these bogus serial undecided candidates. Of course, the answer by Luntz was evidence that he was completely unaware that he was being duped by Romney plants.
(not that I think Romney had anything to do with it, but when some jacka$$ decided to rig ‘public opinion’ it is still a political crime and needs to be called out.)
MSM tried shoving Rudi down our throats back when this pathetic "process" got started.
That didn't work, so now they're trying to see if McRomnabee will fit.
I'm a bit surprised they didn't find a way to exclude Thompson.
