I think you have to be careful with that. If you listen to Rush, you’ll notice how he talks about “emotional connections” people have made to candidates.
As of now, I’m just going to keep asking them “What are you going to do now?” every time it becomes clearer that the honorable men - Fred and Duncan - just aren’t going to make it.
I think we need to have some empathy for them. It IS sad that Fred and Duncan didn’t break through - whatever the reason.
