It is becoming increasingly and painfully clear that voters in both parties are having a hard time settling on a front runner.

Not only have different people won different primaries thus far, no one won a majority in any primary in either party -- until Hillary Clinton, running virtually unopposed in the Michigan primary, received just over half the votes, while "uncommitted" received 40 percent.

Thomas Sowell- one of the finest conservative minds we have..

~snip~

The short answer is that most of the Republicans are questionable and all three leading Democrats are dangerous.

The only real conservative candidate is former Senator Fred Thompson but his low vote totals in all the Republican primaries thus far make him a one-man endangered species.

Dr. Sowell must have forgotten about Duncan Hunter, but he truly is the one-man endangered species thus far. Otherwise this article is spot on.

Go Fred!

Indeed. Why should I as a Christian conservative waste my conservative vote on a liberal rino?
Answer; I should not waste my vote on a rino liberal who misrepresents who they are and what they believe. It is time for a conservative third party as the bad apples of the GOP have spoiled all the GOP with new age liberalism, a movement akin to marxism which is gaining ground worldwide.

It was Bill Clinton who gave the North Koreans help on their nuclear program in exchange for promises that have -- predictably -- proved worthless. This was just one of the dangerous problems that he swept under the rug and left for his successor.

Thomas Sowell has summed it up beautifully. It’s hard to get excited about the choices, but we must not let any of these Democrats make it into office.

Fred Thompson is supported by many Conservatives and I think it’s worthwhile effort to support his campaign. As far as I’m concerned, we’re still in the first half of the game.

What about the Hunter? Keyes and Tancredo were both pretty conservative, compared to the media rinos!

Dr. Sowell says that we must put aside out disgust with the Republican candidates in order to stop the greater evil, Bill-ze-Bubba’s wife. Sowell is a wise old man, and his opinion is always worth considering carefully.

yeah i would agree with that, i dont really have a problem with Romney or Huck, but it seems Fred is gonna end it, which is sad, but really he ran a terrible campain... Hitlary would do a great deal of damage were she to get it... McCain, i would really have to think about that one...
