You know deep down these groups aren't representative of Paul's support as a whole. They're only highlighted because Paul is up against powerful interests who have to portray Paul as a kook because they can't fight Paul on the facts or his record.
Over 150,000 people donated to Paul in the 4Q last year. Surely all of these folks aren't white supremacists, Code Pinkers, 9/11 conspiracy nuts etc., right? If you believe they are, then we might as well end this aspect of the discussion, because there's no use going back and forth on this and no minds are going to get changed anyway.
Paul has a lot of support from Main Street America. You and the GOP ignore these new and previously apathetic voters at your own peril.

There are too many “blind” Conservatives to see that Ron Paul “could” give his endorsement to another candidate instead of running third party.
Conservatives cutting off nose to spite face.
I don't need to go deep down to realize that. I know these people are a fraction of his support. But I also know that his support among them appears to be monolithic. If every gun control organization in America was behind, say, Mike Huckabee, we'd wonder what they were expecting to get out of it, wouldn't we? And the fact that most of his supporters are pro-2nd Amendment wouldn't change that dynamic.

If the only way the GOP can survive is to pander to people who believe in coddling Islamofascists, it's time for the GOP to die.
