Huckabee has a tough road to hoe, with these types of misleading and false attacks constantly leveled at him.

Huckabee is a RINO hoe, who should hit the road.

Here’s the deal:

Huck’s never been a true believer on the borders issue. He’s gone so far (within the last 24 months, mind you) as to label everyone that is a racist or a bigot. His current stance is just a bit of GHWB-style lip service for TV.

Huck’s political career is bought-and-paid-for by the Tyson Company. They want their illegal-labor gravy train to kept running. He’s not about to stab them in the back. If elected, he’ll do exactly what Bush did.

In order:

1) Pretend to do nothing
2) Stack the DOJ and DHS with pro-illegal activists
3) If called to task about his appointments, he’ll play the race-baiting game
4) He’ll give the activists marching orders to run-off anyone who actually tries to do something about securing the border.
5) If/when we martial our resources to try and stop it, he’ll produce another ‘comprehensive reform’ scare to shut us up.

Fool me once...

Oh, and yes, Romney is just as much of a panderer on this issue. No, I don’t give him a pass on it either.

Huckabee is pretty good about saying “They’re lying about me.” But he never seems to be able to actually point out the so-called lie.

Mike Wallace had Huckabee stuttering, while he desperately tried to defend his “touch back” position as being somehow different from McCain’s “touch back” amnesty plan.

Huckaspeak:

Lie: Anything that exposes Huckabee’s flip flops and evasion of issues.

Truth: Anything that makes Huckabee look good.

I sort of like the idea of getting rid of the IRS but, Huckabee’s record as Governor of Arkansas speaks VOLUMES.

You are the typical Huckster supporter. The only way you can make your guy look good is to lie about everyone else . Lars Larson should not be taking your hit. Huckabee is ALL about amnesty and everything else bad on immigration. I’d bet you were never an anti illegal immigration supporter.

I’m sending your little hit piece to Lars. Perhaps he’ll address your propaganda today.

BTW, the democrats like open borders Huck:

A DEMOCRATIC PARTY STRAW POLL

It may be snowing here in Washington, D.C., but the sun is apparently shinning on Congressman Ron Paul, who edged out Senator John McCain in the 2008 Democratic Party Republican Straw Poll. Meanwhile, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani ended up in a familiar place: sixth.

Top 3 results: Candidate %

Rep. Ron Paul 25.72%

Sen. John McCain 24.73%

Gov. Mike Huckabee 17.17%

Plagiarist Huckabee???

I was listening to Laura Ingraham talking with Center for Immigration Studies Mark Krikorian yesterday . Huckabee claims Krikorian devised his ‘immigration’ policy for him. Mark said he had been contacted by several people and wrote up a brief ‘what had to be done list’, by no means a complete policy that was published some time ago.

Huckabee simply took that article, added little to it and implied Mark and Huck worked out this new ‘policy’. Mark has never worked with or endorsed Huck. Never. His supporters made it sound like CIS had worked with him on this and thereby endorsed him for Pres.

Krikorian says, [Well, at least he finally credited me with writing it]

http://www.lauraingraham.com/

Cool clips (Laura365) NEW! Mark Kirkorian on the immigration issue.(pay to play)

This seems to be the article Krikorian was talking about that Huckabee hijacked. http://www.cis.org/articles/2005/mskoped052305.html Ten Points for a Successful Presidential Candidate

By Mark Krikorian National Review May 23, 2005

BACKGROUND:

http://www.riehlworldview.com/carnivorous_conservative/2008/01/wapo-huckabee-p.html

“I have created a nine point immigration policy that says there is a 120 day period in which people go to their home country and start the process from the back of the line. —Mike Huckabee, Republican Debate, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Jan. 10, 2008.

This isn’t coming from a Romney campaign release; this is the Washington Post”

“When the campaign announced the governor’s nine-point immigration plan on Dec. 6, it noted that it was “partially modeled” on Krikorian’s proposal three years earlier. But Huckabee took credit for the plan in the Republican debate on Thursday night, and Mitt Romney’s campaign is crying foul. A Romney “Fact Check” said that the Huckabee plan had lifted “whole sections of Krikorian’s editorial without quotes or direct attribution.”

Obviously, the "new" media and Republican hierarchy have singled out Huckabee for attack. Katherine Jean Lopez at NRO even has demanded that Fred Thompson stay in the race to diminish Huckabee's chance.

Meanwhile, many of the same nit wits are pimping Romney despite the fact that his record is the most liberal of any candidate running and despite the fact that he is an habitual liar.

The same types had no problem demanding social conservatives and 2nd amendment advocates compromise their beliefs to support Rudy Giuliani.

The double standards are appalling.

Agreed. Don’t count Huckabee out yet. Right now the conservative, pro-life vote is split between Thompson and Huckabee. Huckabee should do well in the panhandle area of Florida, esp if Thompson drops out and conservative, pro-life vote isn’t split. Guiliani will split up liberal vote taking votes away from McCain and Romney vote a bit in Florida.
