I wouldn’t be so certain. This has opened up a few Blacks eyes to the REAL feeling of the Dem insiders towards them and their candidate. Might produce an anyone but Hillary backlash in the General.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if it did. Perhaps, Barack Obama will have the same effect on the black vote that Ross Perot had on Reagan Democrats -- unmooring them from their party. And, as a consequence, not all of them will drift back to reflexively voting Democrat.

I'd like to think that. But, when it comes to the black vote, my mantra is "Always expect the worst. That way you're never disappointed".
