If Fred is on the primary ballot in MA, I'll be proud to cast my vote for him. If not, I'll likely vote for Romney, because I don't want either McCain or Huckabee. However, when the General Election rolls around I WILL be voting for the Republican nominee, because I truly fear for this country's security if a Democrat gets in the White House.

Folks here like to yammer about how they want to 'teach the Republican Party a lesson' because there's not much difference between the Dems and Repubs. For Congress, regarding spending, sometimes that's true. But there is an appreciable difference in the philosophies of the parties when it comes to the use of the military, and our National Security. All our angst about social policy will be moot, if we can't protect our borders and guard against terrorism.

Another excellent post by you!

I don’t know about you, but I’m having a hard time moving on from Fred.

I don’t like the candidates we have, but it is what it is.
So, I’ll choose the one I think is best.
Thankfully, my primary isn’t until May, so I have time.
