I hope this is not the LAST ping for the Hunter list. ;o)
Regarding Reagan...he was not electable in ‘76.
So, we got Carter...the Annapolis Grad.
Thank the Good Lord that Reagan WAS not only electable, but totally desired, in ‘80.
We are at a crossroads now.
May the best man, and our country, win.
Indeed the Hunter list must go. He is retiring this year anyway.
But some of his ideas will be carried on, along with some of Fred’s and some of Reagan’s, Lincoln’s, and Washington’s.
The conservative movement will only be ascendant again when it stops having to constantly compromise with the liberal wing of the GOP. let them compromise for a change.
We have our work cut out for us, to be sure.
