Which is why it makes me laugh that these McCainiacs think that only the “fringe” won’t vote for McCain and that their votes won’t matter. It’s pretty evident that when the Republican base gets apathetic and disgusted, they stay home and don’t vote. You can see what happened in 2006 as a demonstration. No amount of squishy independent vote is going to overcome that.
Frankly, I do NOT want the “squishy independent vote.”
I want conservatives to vote for conservatives.
Alas...there are no conservatives for whom to vote...not for President.
I think we should concentrate on the House.
