From Factcheck.org: Romney attacks Huckabee again with false and misleading claims.

a VOTE FOR mCcAIN OR hILLARY IS A DEFEAT FOR CONSERVATIVES.

Well that's true, but that'll be old news by the time we vote in November. Conservatives failed in the primaries. But I'll still vote in the general. That won't be a defeat for conservatives. That will hopefully be a defeat for Democrats.

There are some anti-Christian republicans who would be driven away ...

There are very very few anti-Christian republicans.

But there are many Republicans who see Huckabee's candidacy in terms of promoting his Christian faith FIRST ..... with American interests a distant SECOND.

President Bush is a great example of a good strong Christian who ran as a conservative faith-respecting leader who, once in office, remained proud of his Christianity and was not ashamed to say so.

Huckabee seems like he's running for President solely to show off and promote his Christianity, with the thought of improving or protecting Americans a distant second.

There is a big difference. Can you see it?

The majority of people don't want a "Christian President" --- so to speak.

They want a President who happens to be Christian yet remains proud and respectful of other denominations and faiths.

There is a BIG difference there also.

The fact that Huckabee made a hurtful comment about Romney believing that "Jesus and the Devil are brothers" was proof positive to me that Huckabee could never be a President to ALL America.

“The Governor does not have the power to parole any prisoner. That responsibility lies with the parole board”

And based on that spin you buy the lie that he didnt have any influence?

Or that he didnt commute 700 sentences? He did!

You are throwing a lot of not very honest spin up to defend the indefensible.

“The fact is Huckabee is still better than Romney on taxes. “

False. Cato gave Huckabee an F and marked him 45th out of 50 governors, and gave Romney a higher score - 15th out of 50.

Huckabee never HAD to raise taxes, that is more spin. If you want a tax-and-spend Democrat Huck is your man, if you want an HONEST person, Huck is NOT your man.

He’s a prolife Clinton.
