I agree with you. But I’ll believe it when I see it.
I think the next 4-8 years will are going to be rebuilding years for conservatives. And I would rather have to fight the White House 50 percent of the time (McCain), instead of 100 percent of the time (Clinton/Obama).
LOL! That thing is fun, isn’t it?
“It will be interesting to see who he chooses as a running mate. (assuming he gets the nomination)”
I heard on XM Radio’s “POTUS ‘08” channel this morning that Joe Lieberman is being considered as a prime choice for running mate, if he wants the job. He has, after all, endorsed McCain. Yet another sign of McCain’s liberal cred.
A McCain/Lieberman ticket? Say it ain’t so, Joe!
(And start printing the McLame Loserman stickers.)
OK, off topic, I know, but type in “islamic fundamentalists”.
Wow.
OK, back on topic...
You heard it here folks...a McCain/Clinton “unity” is in the works....look for McCain to “die” in office...
Don’t know if it’s true BUT... I heard that if McKain gets the pubbie nomination, he may name John Kerry as his running mate! It was something about lib senators and their special club!
He sure is, daer God please do not let him become President.
No it wouldn't. The conservative running mate would have no influence on McCain. The commitment would be a lie.
“I am not sure, what he loses with conservatives he picks up with indies and hispanics”
Next November, when the rubber meets the road, the indies and hispanics will swing back to their natural home which is the Dem party. Remember, McCain will have to shore up his base, or at least try to, but Hillary has her base intact, so she will be able to run to the center to lure the indies back. Conservatives will know that whatever McCain promises, he doesn’t mean a word of it, and a percentage will stay home. It won’t take many in key states to tank McCain.
I’m in Florida, and I’ve been polling my friends. I haven’t found one Romney supporter yet who has said they will vote for McCain in the general. They are all talking about sitting home. People are shocked and angry that McCain might get the nomination, and without the base, McCain’s toast.
I dont agree but we will see
Yes and no. Maybe indies, but not hispanics. This is just scary for the conservatives because we have just been ghost since '04 Actually, the numbnuts indies could really end up electing McPainintheass. Folks these people are clueless!! I don't think they will vote for Hillary or Obama over McPita, now. The DBM/dems will hang him out to dry, but it might not be enough to elect any dem over this disloyal, liberal, rage filled prick.
It's a sad state of affairs for conservatives, but we have no one to blame but ourselves.
Your right look how Pombo in California wasnt supported
Mac is basically a Bob Dole re-run....
McCain is in the wrong party. I will under no circumstances vote for him. Mark my words and hold me to them.
There’s nothing that John McCain can do to truly get my vote! John McCain has damaged conservatism to much on too many issues for too many years and counting!
. . . OR...To quote Ann Coulter (Jan 24, 08):
"John McCain is Bob Dole minus the charm, conservatism and youth."
Yeah...I also find it peculiar that SOMEHOW BOTH Clintoons have managed to “arrange” such opposition...its unearthly.....
