Is McCain now himself claiming that he would appoint someone like Alito? Make him put it in writing. I bet he won’t.

McCain said last night that he would like to appoint justices like Alito and Roberts.

Actually, I don’t think it would matter if he put it in writing for two reasons:

1. He would lie about that like he lies about everything else, and
2. He’s not going to get elected even if he does win the GOP nomination.

I beleive McCain is on the ropes physically and emotionally. If his health doesn’t give out, his temperament will. In short, he is an atrophied old nut. And that ain’t a good combination.
